  • Six Steps To A Screen-Friendly Smile
There’s been a ‘Zoom Boom’ in dentistry! Turns out that spending nearly two years staring at ourselves in computer screens has made some people really consider dental work.
    [audio mp3="https://media.radiocms.net/uploads/2021/07/26122629/MYN_JenCollins_2607.mp3"][/audio]
Since the start of the pandemic, dentists have reported a significant rise in demand for cosmetic dental treatments. This could be down to becoming self-conscious during Zoom calls, having more disposable income, or taking advantage of having to wear masks to finally get that treatment they’ve always wanted.
The good news is, it doesn’t always have to cost the earth and it’s not always invasive!
In a Mind Yourself Now special, Dr Jennifer Collins from Northumberland Dental Care in Dublin told Dermot and Dave of six ways you can improve your smile!

  • Meet The Mam Who Runs Her Family Like A Business
Imagine having an annual review with your mother, or assigning roles like COO to your child. Perhaps you’ve never considered having a weekly family meeting with a set agenda, or a 12 part core value charter for you all to live by?

  • Dermot & Dave's Best Of Podcast-23/07
Dermot & Dave's 'Ah Sure Lookit Wasn't That It' podcast is the perfect thing to keep you company over the weekend, whether you're out and about in the car, getting stuck into jobs at home or if you need to stick some earphones in for an hour to drown out the noise of your kids for some well deserved 'me time' (no judgement here!)
    [audio mp3="https://media.radiocms.net/uploads/2021/07/23142449/TRY-THIS-2.mp3"][/audio]
Jam-packed full of all the bits you may have missed the Ah Sure Lookit Wasn't That It podcast is your one-stop shop for all things Dermot & Dave.
Poor Cathal. After last weeks dilemma about finding a suitable place to watch Limerick v Tipp,  he sent Dermot some pretty cocky voicenotes about Tipp’s performance in the first half of last weeks Munster final…needless to say they were followed by a sheepish final message and Dermot took great joy in playing them out on the show.
Speaking of thing that bring Dermot joy, he’s fallen in love…with a song, from nearly 30 years ago.
This bit of cheese ring any bells?
But it got us all thinking about our favourite bits in songs from the drums in ‘In The Air Tonight’ to ‘NO NO NO NO’ in Celine’s Think Twice.
We heard from the listener in Carlingford who found mystery eggs in her garden, the Kerry family who lost (and found) an Apple watch in the Atlantic and the Bantry Basketball Club with a pretty impressive new sponsor.

Emily Ratajkowski sponsors U-16 #Bantry basketball team - yes really!
