  • How Elon Musk Is Bringing High-Speed Broadband To West Cork
When the people of Knockawaddra, West Cork started working from home last year, the lack of decent internet coverage became a massive issue for them.
Living in between hills and trees has left residents in an internet 'dead zone' and some have taken to going up a hill to a stone circle in an attempt to connect.
Frustrated and losing out on valuable business, Emma Fitzpatrick and Lesley Cox who live and work in Knockawaddra, decided to aim for space.
    Space X to be exact.
The pair had written to billionaire Elon Musk to see if his Spacex company could help finally get them online.
Speaking to Dermot and Dave, Emma revealed the exciting response they've had from Elon Musk and his team and how the improved internet connectivity will help them.

  • How A.I Is Being Used To Make 'New' Music From Beloved Acts
Artists like Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison have more than just their talent in common. Sadly, they all passed away at the age of just 27.
'The 27 Club' is known as a group of musicians who lost their lives way too young leaving their legacy unfulfilled.
Now, a new organisation is hoping to give a voice to those we lost, and to imagine what the artists could have done.
In Dave's World, Dave explained the incredible artificial intelligence system that was used to create 'new' music from some of our favourite artists.
    From Amy Winehouse
    To Jimi Hendrix
    To Nirvana
