Covid-19 is really bringing out the best in Irish people.

If you've been following the story of Dermot & Dave producer Maria's upcoming wedding on the show, you'll know that last week she had to postpone her upcoming nuptials due to Covid-19.

Maria and her fiancé Johnny were due to get married at the end of July, but decided to postpone their wedding until the summer of 2021, to give time for the Covid-19 pandemic to pass.

This morning on Dermot & Dave, Maria revealed how this weekend coming was due be Johnny's stag. He and his mates were supposed to head to Galway for a few days of madness.

But, just like the wedding Johnny's stag was also called off. So, Maria decided to get creative and turn their Offaly home into the ultimate bachelor party.

Maz stocked up on booze, novelty glasses, cakes that look like female body parts and even the obligatory customised t-shirts.

With Ireland's current housing crisis, we could all find ourselves living on a boat very soon.

So, with that in mind for Ask Me Anything this week Dermot & Dave spoke to someone who lives on a houseboat and it turns out to be a fascinating way of life.

Today FM's Claire Beck discussed all aspects of living on the waterways of Ireland, including how she empties the toilet. Turns out, it isn't as gross as you might think. Every so often, Claire will take her boat to a service area and connect the tank to a hole that will suck all the 'residue' out.

Listen, we're all at it. We've made the banana bread, we've cleaned the house from top to bottom and now as the weather gets better, we're looking at the overgrown and football strewn garden and thinking 'how can I make it look like Bloom?'

If you've been living under a rock (see what I we did there), The Flintstones was an animated sitcom set in the Stone Age and follows the activities of the titular family, the Flintstones, and their next-door neighbors, the Rubbles.

It was originally broadcast on American network from September 30, 1960 to April 1, 1966, and was the first animated series to hold a prime time slot on television.

The continuing popularity of The Flintstones rests heavily on its juxtaposition of modern everyday concerns in the Stone Age setting.

The Flintstones was the most financially successful and longest-running network animated television series for three decades, until The Simpsons, which debuted in late 1989, outlasted it.

In 2013, TV Guide ranked The Flintstones the second-greatest TV cartoon of all time, after The Simpsons.

The Hollywood A-Lister is facing an investigation by the FAA after mishearing an air traffic control operator's commands and crossing an airport runway.

The actor best known for playing Han Solo in Star Wars, landed at an airport last Friday and was asked to "hold short" on the runway due to other traffic.

However, the actor misheard the instructions and proceeded to cross the taxiway.

Dating is hard at the best of times, let alone in the middle of a pandemic.

This morning on Dermot & Dave, we met Milly who had gotten in touch with the lads about her search for love.

Here's what she said:

To Dermot and Dave,

I actually can’t believe I’m doing this but hey, a world wide pandemic will make you do crazy things. In a months time, I am going to be 40 years old. How did this happen? It feels like only yesterday I was going to Tamangos (where the gang goes) or drinking 2 litres of Devils Bit in Fairview Park.

I have a fairly good career, as a producer and an artist. I own my own home and I get to travel the world as often as I can. I love my life, I love my own company and I’m truly the happiest I have ever been.

However, I have been single for the longest time. At this point in my life I would love to meet someone similar to me who has his own life, is happy in his own skin and is open to the possibility of finding love.

I don’t use any of ‘the apps’!

I just really want to find love the old fashioned way. By writing into my local radio station and asking the two best DJs on air to find it for me instead.
