  • Simon Zebo Says French Rugby Season Will Resume 'Within Weeks'
As the spread of Covid-19 begins to slow in some European countries, sporting organisations now face the task of deciding what to do with their respective seasons.
This morning on Dermot & Dave, the lads were joined by Simon Zebo, who spoke about the potential resumption of the French rugby league. He revealed that he has been informed that from May 11th players will return to their clubs in small groups to undergo a medical examination. Those players who are deemed healthy will then begin a six week "pre-season" training regime, before the rugby season in France resumes.
Simon has had a visit from his friend Noni, and even told her that she was welcome to Paris anytime; that he would "make up the spare bed" for her. Although, Limerick's most famous Chocolate Seller had a different idea of what she would like to get up to if she visits Simon in Paris.
Hist play to hear Simon Zebo's full chat with Dermot & Dave, where he tells the lads what he really thinks of Conor Murray's dancing.

  • Supermarket Employee Reveals What It's Like Working In-Store Nowadays
At the moment the only time most of us get to leave the house is for the weekly Tesco shop.
Supermarket employees have been deemed essential workers by the government and are doing their best to make sure they the rest of us are not short of anything during the nationwide lockdown.
Just like other essential workers, supermarket staff are putting themselves at risk on a daily basis, going into shops around the country, to ensure our homes are stocked up with everything we need.
This week on Ask Me Anything, Dermot & Dave spoke to Robbie Kelly, a Manager at Tesco's Liffey Valley store. Robbie spoke to the lads about how most customers are doing their best to maintain social distancing while in-store, and how the majority of staff feel comfortable when serving customers on a daily basis.

  • David Attenborough Thinks Covid-19 Changes To Life Should Be Permanent
David Attenborough is renowned for his work around the world.

Now the British Broadcaster has had his say on the current Covid-19 restrictions, and it has fans divided.

  • Pat Shortt Is Watching Killinaskully 'For The First Time' While In Quarantine
Let's face it, while on lockdown we are turning to TV to keep ourselves occupied.
Many of us are discovering shows we have never seen before, in fact just this week Netflix revealed they had seen a huge spike in sign up's in the last month. But it seems like even the most famous people in Ireland are spending their time binge watching TV too.
This morning on Dermot & Dave Pat Shortt revealed that he is watching Killinaskully for the first time, admitting despite writing the show, he had never seen a single episode.
The legendary comedian says the reason he had never watched it was because when he was working on the show, he would have been too obsessed with what could have been done differently in each scene.
RTÉ announced last week that it would be reshowing Killinaskully on a Sunday evening, after fans called on the broadcaster to bring back some of their 'classic' TV shows during the Covid-19 lockdown.
