Ryan has something special up his sleeve tonight, as he and the team pay tribute to the incredible patients, families and staff at CHI at Crumlin. Plus Derry Girls actress Siobhán McSweeney and Niall Horan drop by for a chat.

Cork's finest  is joined by Robert Downey Jr and Emma Thompson, stars of the big-screen fantasy adventure Dolittle, and Hugh Laurie, who discusses his role in The Personal History of David Copperfield. Cork has long been hailed as "the real capital of Ireland", but now, the Rebel county might be about to get a new, much more scantily clad, title.

The Irish Naturist Association is hoping they can bring more tourists to the county by highlighting all the fabulous areas people can enjoy in the nip.

Speaking on Dermot and Dave, INA Spokesperson, Stephen Bolton tells us why he wants to see naturism become more popular and how Cork can benefit from it;

"it's been going on for decades...it's historically and traditionally known there are clothing optional beaches up and down the west coast [of Cork] and all we would like is from the county councils and the Wild Atlantic way, would just be a couple of little signposts"

This week Dermot & Dave spoke a listener called Alan, who was left with a huge dilemma - should be leave his job or not? Dermot & Dave show producer Maria got a new treadmill and lets just say her workout routine isn't the most conventional. And Dave had some Bad Jokes, while Noni launched her Election 2020 Campaign.

Have a laugh and raise much needed funds for charity

Did you know that there are now 10,448 people homeless in Ireland? The breakdown of that is 6,696 adults and 3,752 children. Shocking stats in 2020.

To help tackle this growing issue, the ICHH (Inner City Helping Homeless) have created a stand up comedy event, with all proceeds going their charity.

The line up is Karl Spain, Barry Murphy, John Colleary, Pat McDonnell and Eve Darcy, and it will take place in The Workmans Club, Dublin city, on the 30th of January (tickets available here).

Comedian James Goldsbury, who will host the night, chats to Dermot and Dave about what people can expect - including a raffle, and an auction, where one of the big prizes is a signed IRFU jersey.

James also gives us an idea of the amazing work the ICHH do 7 nights a week.

Old Trafford was far from the "Theatre of Dreams" on Wednesday evening, as United went down 0-2 to Burnley in their first loss at home since August.

Ole may be at the wheel, but the real problem lies with the car owners.

A sailor went to c, c, c...

Dave went down the lexicography route for this edition of Dave's World, leading with the three c's in "The Pacific Ocean".

He had lots more pronunciation mysteries and made us giggle like a schoolkid with the Norwegian word for "speed bump".

Is it worth the risk?

Dermot and Dave get all sorts of messages into the show on a daily basis, but it was Alan in Ardee's dilemma which caught their eye recently.

Alan has a very steady job in wholesale supplies but has been offered a more financially exciting job with his best mate.

Being a plasterer by trade, and having years of experience since before the Celtic Tiger began to roar, his buddy wants him to jump ship and get back on the trowel with him.

Having a wife and three kids, Alan is torn over what he should do - so D&D put it out to Today FM listeners and offer their own advice.

Orlando Bloom leads the cast

Gary Janetti, who has written for Family Guy and was the Executive Producer of Will & Grace, has teamed up with 20th Century Fox TV to create a new animated series called 'The Prince'.

No stranger to satire, Janetti's new project, which has been snapped up by streaming platform HBO Max, is based on his now-famous instagram account which pokes fun at the royal family via Kate & William's son, Prince George:

Janetti will voice six-year-old George with Orlando Bloom being confirmed to lead the cast as Prince Harry.
