Deanna and Chris met 19 years ago when he was just 20 years old and selling vacuums. Deanna at the time was a single mother of 2 and 7 years older. Sparks flew between them immediately and they were married within months of meeting. We talk about how they have navigated life as Chris became an overnight success and star from American Idol, dealing with infidelity from an empathic standpoint, the ups and down of fame, and raising 5 kids. Plus we talk about how Deanna and Chris agreed upon ethical non-monogamy at certain points in their relationship, and how important it is to love yourself and live authentically.
