After 13 years, the rivalry returned and the result was the same as it was more than a decade ago; the Texas Longhorns went into College Station and came away with a win.

The Longhorns' defense was the biggest reason for the dominant win, keeping the Aggies out of the end zone for the first time this season. Texas held their rushing game in check and forced quarterback Marcell Reed to beat them throwing the football.
