Dr. Lorne Lavine, founder and president of The Digital Dentist, has over 30 years investedin the dental and dental technology fields. A graduate of USC, he earned his D.M.D. fromBoston University and completed his residency at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester,NY. He received his specialty training at the University of Washington and went intoprivate practice in Vermont until moving to California in 2002 to establish TDD, acompany which focuses on the specialized technological and HIPAA needs of the dentalcommunity.
Dr. Lavine has vast experience with dental technology systems. He is a CompTia CertifiedA+ Computer Repair Technician, and CompTia Network+ certified. As a consultant andintegrator, he has extensive hands-on experience with most practice management software,image management software, digital cameras, intraoral cameras, computers, networks, anddigital radiography systems.
Dr. Lavine writes for many well-known industry publications and lectures across thecountry. He was the regular Technology columnist for Dental Economics Magazine. Hisarticles have appeared in Dentistry Today, Dental Economics, Dental Equipment andMaterials, Dental Practice Report, New Dentist, Dental Angle Online, and DentalTownmagazine, where was a moderator of ten of their Computer and Software Forums. He haslectured to the Yankee Dental Congress, American Academy of Periodontology, AmericanAcademy of Endodontics, the DentalTown Extravaganza, and numerous State DentalSociety and Study Club lectures. In addition, he is a member of the Speaking andConsulting Network. He is also the former technology consultant for the Indian HealthService.
About Coach Eric Vickery:
Eric holds a degree in business administration and brings a strong business and systems approach to his consulting. His initiation into the field of dentistry was in the area of office management. He managed dental practices for over ten years and has been consulting over 250 offices nationwide since 2001.
There are two main delivery systems that he utilizes, that of monthly coaching as well as virtual or on-site seminars. Through his coaching, Eric has been able to improve offices with his practice monitoring systems. He is an expert on case acceptance, verbal skills and the DISC personality profile.
