Market Report w/c Monday 23rd October. In this week’s market report, Josh discusses how the market has done next to nothing for the last 2 weeks, with the Dewing Grain team not anticipating any news whatsoever. Market Report w/c Monday 9th October. In this week’s market report, Andrew talks about how last week's oil seed rape market declined and how he was advised by his experts that it could be due to macroeconomic problems such as people withdrawing their money because of the cost of living crisis getting people to invest less. Right now this is the optimum time for planting wheat and certainly any cereal planting which has been happening across the UK with perfect weather conditions. Which means the farming community are working ungodly hours.
The next Dewing Grain walk is on Tuesday 31st October at 2pm, the location is TBC. No tricks just treats.
**After recording this podcast, Tom got his first deal bought 58 tonnes of wheat.

Market Report w/c Monday 4th September. It has been an extremely busy week at Dewing Grain, with the end of the harvest keeping the team on their feet. Our predictions are that the oil seed rape market is going to go up, feed wheat just keeps coming at us as there aren’t any sellers and the moulting barley market is very exciting with Norfolk samples being as good as anywhere in Norfolk. Listen now to find out what other predictions Andrew has to make.
Shifting our attention to international markets, India's recent ban on sugar exports comes as a surprise. It seems that India has faced more significant challenges than they've let on, pushing for lower food prices domestically but inadvertently raising them abroad.

Market Report w/c Monday 21st August. This week’s market report covers the damp mood within the grain market, with many difficult questions arising such as whether to sell to a maltster or sell for export by boat.
Andrew and Harry discuss the value of Harry beginning his grain trade career in the store following University, often having to deal with difficult situations such as wet harvests and residue-clogged extraction fans.
