3. Don’t panic! 不要惊慌！

4. Always believe that you're in the right place at the right time. 相信自己在对的时间和对的地方。

语言学习小贴士

You will find words easier to remember if you try to remember an example sentence using that word rather the word on its own. 你会发现如果你试着记忆范例句子而 不是只记忆单词会发现比较容易能记住那个生字。

以下是我最近新学的西班牙语做示范：

住酒店的时候若碰到房门卡（key card）无效的时候就是很苦恼，有一次到国外出差，就碰到这样的问题，当我们想要表示“房门卡没反应”，这句英语要怎么说呢？“ This key card doesn’t work.” work 在这里当动词，是指某事物正常工作，有反应的意思。

针对卡片的使用状况，饭店人员可能会有以下说明：

The green light indicates that the door has been unlocked.

绿灯亮时，表示房门已经打开。

The red light indicates an error. Please try swiping the card more slowly.

红灯表示讯息错误。请试着刷慢一点。

如果房门卡遗失邀请饭店补发，有些饭店可能会要求一些成本费用。

A：I’ve lost my key card. 我的门禁卡遗失了。

B: You need to pay a $5 charge for the lost card. 你需要负担 5 美元的工本费。

之前 Lily 老师迷上了电视剧“纸牌屋”House of Cards，连看了两季，慢慢的对美国的首都 (Washington D.C.)华盛顿特区，感到很有兴趣，就一直非常想要亲眼去参观下。有次在美国度假就任性的买张单程机票到了 D.C.参观了国会大厦(the Capitol)还有白宫(White House)还有探访当时电视剧拍摄的场景，和当地的人聊起纸牌屋，那真是过瘾啊!有机会 你也要去看看，当你想要表示你是第一次到这样的地方，你可以说，"This is the first time 
I've been here." 

This is the first time I’ve been here. 这是我第一次来这里。�=I’ve never been here before.�=I’ve always wanted to come here. 

有没有一个地方是你心所向往的地方?现在交通这么发达，不要再因为太忙，而放弃出走的机会! 

虽然 TAX 也是税的意思，DUTY多指消费税方面的，进出口多用，我们在飞机上购物，还有旅游地的免税商店，商品上写的都会是DUTY FREE，没有 TAX FREE 的写法。

但是！在退税处会看到 tax-refund 的英文。
