In this episode of The Herbalist Hour, I'm joined by Steven Yeager. 

Steven is the Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at Mountain Rose Herbs. 

He is also a friend and one of my main herbal mentors. 

He taught alongside Howie Brounstein at the Columbines School of Botanical Studies when I took their two year apprenticeship over a decade ago. 

Steven also serves on the board of several non-profits including United Plant Savers, American Herbal Products Association (AHPA), and the Native Plant Society of Oregon.

In this conversation we chat about Steven's herbal origin story, GMPs, favorite plants and lot more.
