Discovering Down Syndrome Outside the Medical System

We kick off this season with Emilee sitting down with Britni from Washington, who tells her big story of birthing her daughter outside of the medical system at the age of 41. Britni shares how in the first moments after birth, she realized her daughter looked different and settled into the knowing that she had Down Syndrome and would keep her daughter away from the medical system.
