How do you deal with anxiety?
It is something every single one of us has had to deal with and overcome at some point in our life’s, something that you can’t see but is always there in some way, something that can either leave us frozen in time or something we can overcome and leave behind us.
Just because it’s easy at one point doesn’t necessarily mean it’s always going to be that way, it is going to change depending on you current circumstances and might be even harder then it used to be in the past but that doesn’t mean you still can’t overcome it like you have before.
The more you can do this, the easier it gets! The conversation you have in your own head suddenly starts to sound a little bit nicer and opportunity’s seem to get a little bit closer.Over time this will compound on itself and make situation you used to dread seem like a walk in the park.
Right now I’m currently in the process of compounding those habits to quit that anxious voice that stops me from getting the most out of every opportunity I’m given.
Enjoy!

I have been looking forward to recording this podcast for years now and have finally been able to track down Mr. Legs aka Jack Moir to his house just outside of Newcastle to record this episode, Jake Newell also jumps on to share his thoughts on starting out in World Cups, rallying cheap cars and why he is called magpie.
We go into the injuries and struggles Jack had to overcome throughout his career and how it has ultimately made him into the person he is today, a true champion.
Seeing Jack go through these struggles firsthand makes it even more impressive that he’s been able to bounce back to the level he is at today, proves if you just keep showing up every day no matter what you never know how far it can take you.
Along with all this, we also have a good laugh reminiscing about the good old days growing up racing in Australia and around the world and friends and teammates.
Enjoy!

Podcasts like this are the reason I like creating them so much and continue to do so, when I am truly inspired and motivated by another human being due to their ethos and outlook on life that’s when I know I’m in the right place, doing the right things.
I only met Elias Schwarzler a couple days before recording this interview at the Scott athlete summit in Aosta Italy, straight away though we hit it off on a range of different topics and also shared a very similar outlook on life and creativity.
We both share the passion for pushing limits and stepping outside of our comfort zone, this is quite easy to understand when you see Elias has set the world record for the fastest man on a stock mountain bike, assisted by a motorcycle with a speed of 272km/h.
Elias is a person that likes to link outside the box and push what he thinks is humanly possible along the way.
Hope you enjoy the chat and I hope it motivates you to push past what you think you’re capable of.
Here are the links to some of Elias’s best videos:

So I've wanted to do a little show like this for a while now where we talk about everything racing along with a heap of other bits and pieces while having a laugh along the way.
Coming back in 2023 I will try and have one of these out each race along with a podcast.
If you liked it please let me know in the comments.
Cheers!!

Bernard Kerr is not only a top-level downhill racer for the Pivot Factory team but also doubles up as the team manager as well, to top it all off he also plays the role of a filmer for his YouTube channel where produces content through a race weekend.
I sit down with Bernard straight off his second-place finish in Snowshoe while waiting to get the weekend kicked off in MSA, Bernard managed to get back on the podium again shortly after recording this episode.
We also go into how he feels about some of the whispers that have been coming through about the changes that may be implemented next season when ESO takes over broadcasting rights.
Enjoy!

On this episode of the podcast I sit down with wild man Ronan Dunne coming off his podium finish in Snowshoe, West Virginia.
Ronan has to be one of the most chilled out and easy to get along with guest I’ve ever had the pleasure of getting on the show, whether it was talking about how he grew up as a hillbilly in Ireland or how many redbull’s he drinks before his race run he always seemed to have a funny story behind it.
Really enjoyed this one, hope it can help inspire young kids in Ireland getting into racing mountain bikes not only at home but also around the world.
Enjoy!

On this episode of the podcast I sit down with two of the fastest riders in the world, Loic Bruni and Finn Iles. Both are team mates at Specialized Gravity and both are currently battling for the top spot at the UCI Downhill World Cup with them both finishing on the podium at the most recent round in Andorra.
Recently though their attention has shifted to fighting a new battle, a battle each and every rider has to face when competing, the battle? To have our voices heard on the world stage when it comes to a number of different issues such as, safe riding conditions, fair rule changes and better prize money.
All of these things we have little to no control over due mainly because of lack of communication and organization, two things Loic and Finn are trying their very best to make a thing of the past.
With rider meetings and group chats now becoming more common within the racing community due to Loic and Finn it seems like there is a real chance this can pick up the momentum it truly needs.
I hope this podcast gives you all a better idea on the reasons behind uniting all the riders to have a single voice and also the issues we would like to see addressed to grow the sport and make it the best it can be.

When it comes to all out speed on a mountain bike who is the first person that comes to mind?Would it be Sam Hill? The man that could crash and still find himself on a World Cup and World Championship podium.Maybe it’s Aaron Gwin who seemed to do the impossible more than once by winning a World Cup without a chain and winning in horrendously wet conditions while the person in second (myself) came down in much more favorable conditions.Even Danny Hart could have his name thrown in that hat, with him winning a World Championship by almost 12 seconds! He’s shown when he’s on he’s on.
I think five years ago these would have been the clear choices for all out speed, but now I think there’s a new kid on the block that is hard to look past and has made a real claim to get his name firmly cemented alongside some of the best to ever have done it, his name is Amaury Pierron.
I was lucky enough to sit down with Amaury in his home town of Brioude just a couple weeks before the first round of the UCI downhill world cup in Lourdes, France and this what he had to say.
Enjoy!

There’s very few people out there that will stoke you up quite as much as Richard Tebb does, whether it’ll be out on the local trails around derby or lost in the forest at a bush doof he’s the man to have around to pump you up and get you into the right frame of mind.
From joining the army and coming close to being deployed to then becoming a stripper, videographer and DJ the stoke wizard has become a jack of all trades that is constantly stoking people up along the way
I sit down with him for this chat at his property in Derby happily named “The Froth Factory” and go over all things that have made him into the person/wizard he is.
Enjoy!
