  • CONTRIBUTIONS NOT RESOLUTIONS | Mindset Mastery with A.Z. Araujo
CONTRIBUTIONS NOT RESOLUTIONS | Mindset Mastery w/ AZ Araujo As we approach the new year, it's likely that you'll hear the familiar saying "2024 is going to be very different." It's important to remember that a new calendar year does not automatically equate to a fresh start. The reality is that you'll continue to grapple with the same challenges that currently haunt you; the mere flip of the calendar doesn't provide an automatic reset or a clean slate. Things are not going to automatically change just because you flipped the calendar. It's going to take an inner conviction, a true desire to completely change the paradigm of your future. Understanding that resolutions must be a daily commitment, not confined to a yearly time frame, is crucial. Recommitting to your goals and reaffirming your commitment is a daily process that begins the moment you conceive the idea of making a change or seeking solutions to your problems. Your contribution to maintaining resolutions hinges on your consistency, determination, and adherence to well-defined systems and processes. Having systems and processes in place for your business and in your personal life, means creating a strategic game plan to replicate successful results—a systematic approach to doing the right things at the right time for optimal outcomes. The objective is to refine and streamline your efforts, fostering a smoother flow and a more systematic approach. This doesn't necessarily require elaborate or software-based systems; simplicity is key. It's imperative to recognize the need to simplify the game and refrain from overcomplicating matters. Rather than viewing challenges as external obstacles or insurmountable odds, focus on contributing positively towards your goals. Make the right deposits by adopting a systematic approach, and avoid letting up on your efforts. Anticipate challenges as opportunities for growth, knowing that, a year from now, you'll likely find yourself on a significantly improved and more positive path toward prosperity. QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER:
    • How committed are you to making daily resolutions instead of waiting for a new year?
    • What contributions can you make to enhance your consistency and determination towards your goals?
    • In what ways can you simplify your approach to challenges and avoid overcomplication?
    NOTABLE QUOTES:
    • "Simplicity is key – systems don't have to be elaborate; they have to be effective."
    • "Your contribution to resolutions lies in daily consistency, determination, and defined processes."
    • "Anticipate challenges as opportunities for growth, and a year from now, you'll be on a positive path to prosperity."

  • Defy Logic | Mindset Mastery with A.Z. Araujo
DEFY LOGIC | Mindset Mastery with AZ Araujo To push the envelope and create the lifestyle you've envisioned for yourself, you need to consistently do the right things every day, despite the inevitable hardships or long periods of no immediate results. The most difficult part of any cycle or progression is weathering the storm, having faith that the tides will change in your favor. Most people can't endure the pain, discomfort, or possible ridicule from others when there are no tangible results. It becomes embarrassing, as you tell those around you that you're on the right path, committing time every day, yet results remain elusive. Success requires an absolute commitment to repeating the same actions over and over again, knowing you have everything you need to accomplish your goals. The biggest challenge lies in the desire for instant results, wanting it right now. Marketing like a top-producing agent or mimicking their actions won't guarantee success. What many fail to account for is the consistency, commitment, intensity, and focus of those top producers. Merely going through the motions without intensity won't yield significant results. Your attitude and the intensity behind your actions are crucial, making every step with intention is what sets you apart. You can't just quickly check things off your to-do list and move on; there must be intensity behind your actions. It's the sheer desire to produce something far greater that will change your future. Certain deposits and actions must be made every day, and it's not just going through the motions but the attitude and intensity behind them that matter. The best gift you can provide to those around you is living your life with intention and focus. This gives you a greater purpose, knowing you have the abilities and solutions within you. Your ability to solve problems should not be a detriment to your peace, as you already possess the solutions. It's only a matter of time. QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER:
    • How do you balance the desire for instant results with the need for consistent, intentional actions?
    • Reflect on a time when you communicated your commitment to a goal despite facing ridicule or skepticism. How did it impact your journey?
    • In what ways can you add more intensity and intention behind your daily actions to achieve greater results?
    NOTABLE QUOTES:
    • "The hardest part of any cycle, any type of progression, is to be able to weather that storm."
    • "It's your attitude, the intensity behind what you're trying to accomplish that will change the future for you."
    • "Your ability to solve problems should not be a detriment to your peace, because you know you already have the solutions within you."

  • Settling Down | Mindset Mastery with A.Z. Araujo
SETTLING | Mindset Mastery with AZ Araujo It's crucial to not be afraid of the possibilities of creating more and to not be afraid of the responsibility that it takes to show up consistently. There is a constant pattern of settling or not going with your initial intentions, saying that you want big things, but when push comes to shove, you end up settling on something. Settling is a way to be comfortable. Comfort brings about average decisions and doesn't seek the discipline it takes to continue to push the envelope. In fact, it's the complete opposite: there's no urgency, there's no need, there's no real push to continue to grow. Our indecision to not push the envelope is often based on the fears of what may occur, of all the ways things can go wrong, or what people will say. What if it doesn't work out? What if I make this big decision and it doesn't turn out the way I wanted it to? What we should be more afraid of is not living up to the best version of ourselves. What we should be more afraid of is holding back, because holding back doesn't build confidence, it erodes it. Every time you make the decision to settle, you are building habits; it will either build your confidence or erode it. This constant cycle of holding back will reinforce that you don't trust yourself. It reinforces that your vision is really just a pipe dream. We're constantly losing the negotiation to the smaller version of ourselves, and it becomes a cycle of comfort and complacency. Do not destroy the vision that you have of your future-self, based on who you are today. If there's a vision that's coming to you, don't tear it down. Don't settle. Don't make it harder on yourself. Figure out a way. Whether you thought it was a good move or a bad move in the short term, in the long term, it's always be the move you should have made. QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER:
    • Have you ever held back due to fear of the unknown or potential failure?
    • Do you recognize a pattern of negotiating with the smaller version of yourself and settling for less?
    • What steps can you take to build more confidence in your decision-making?
    • How can you align your actions with the vision you have for your future self?
    NOTABLE QUOTES:
    • "Do not destroy the vision that you have of your future-self, based on who you are today."
    • "We're constantly losing the negotiation to the smaller version of ourselves, and it becomes a cycle of comfort and complacency."
    • "Comfort brings a lot of average decisions and doesn't seek discipline to push the envelope."

  • Take Another Lap | Mindset Mastery with A.Z. Araujo
TAKE ANOTHER LAP | Mindset Mastery w/ AZ Araujo As a real estate agent, you might be under the misconception that your business will naturally experience highs and lows. You may think that these fluctuations are just part of the game, however, it's essential to challenge this narrative and look at the bigger picture. Consider the trajectory of the real estate market over the past 5 or 10 years. Unlike the perception of constant ups and downs, it generally moves in one direction—forward and upward. While there are occasional dips, the overall trend is upward. The mistake many agents make is assuming their business follows a similar pattern, experiencing highs and lows in a linear fashion. The reality is that many agents are trapped in a dysfunctional loop, a circle of repetitive actions with no real progress. This loop involves celebrating the highs without learning essential lessons and dwelling on the lows without implementing constructive changes. It's a cycle where old habits persist, and no new systems are applied, leading to a perpetual state of stagnation. To assess whether you're genuinely experiencing the highs and lows of business or stuck in a circular pattern, reflect on the past five years of your real estate endeavors. Have you seen significant growth? Have you implemented new systems or hired the right people, or are you still a one-person show, juggling multiple roles? As business owners, we must evolve and expand. Going into business merely to pay bills is a limited perspective that needs shattering. It's crucial to ask yourself if paying bills is the extent of your ambitions. Regardless of where you currently stand in your business journey, reflect on the patterns and actions that brought success and replicate them. This repetition will lead to increased proficiency, confidence, and certainty, helping you navigate the challenges ahead. QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER:
    • Have you seen any significant growth or change in your enterprise over the last five years?
    • Are you still a one-person show, or have you hired the right people to support your business?
    • What systems have you put in place to ensure long-term success?
    NOTABLE QUOTES:
    • "Many agents are trapped in a dysfunctional loop, a circle of repetitive actions with no real progress."
    • "As business owners, we must evolve and expand."
    • "Comparing yourself to others and their perceived success can be misleading."

  • More Discipline | Mindset Mastery with A.Z. Araujo
MORE DISCIPLINE | Mindset Mastery with Host AZ Araujo Today's topic is discipline. You must be consistent when it comes to making your essential deposits – your power deposit, your purpose deposit, and your profits deposit. Be mindful of your daily decisions in both your business and personal life as these actions align with a larger purpose. The more disciplined you become, the less content you might feel, but it's not a negative thing. This discipline keeps you on track, allowing you to wake up with a sense of purpose and the ability to create more in your life. Refine your routine to plan for greater things, as discipline breeds confidence, empowering you to navigate the challenges and rewards of your work. Discipline, combined with time, leads to the compound effect, amplifying your life. Remember that your current achievements are just the beginning of hard work, so keep refining your discipline and abilities. In our industry, discipline carries significant responsibility, as you can't rest on your laurels. The satisfaction it brings is immeasurable, as it allows you to continue growing while others decline. In today's uncertain environment, discipline is more crucial than ever. Stay committed to simple tasks to build the confidence you'll need to navigate the challenges ahead. QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER: How do you currently manage and refine your daily routine to ensure discipline in your life? In what ways can you improve your discipline in the face of challenges and uncertainty? How do you plan to stay committed to simple tasks to build the confidence needed to navigate through tough times? NOTABLE QUOTES: "The more disciplined you are, the less satisfied you can often feel. It's not a bad thing." "Refine your routine, to make sure that you're planning for something much greater." "Discipline plus time creates this thing called the compound effect, and it magnifies your life." "Staying committed to simple tasks is more important than ever. It's going to give you the confidence you're going to need."

  • Achievements And Misfortune | Mindset Mastery with A.Z. Araujo
ACHIEVEMENTS AND MISFORTUNES | Mindset Mastery with AZ Araujo Today's topic is "Achievements and Misfortunes." You've probably encountered this concept in various ways—ups and downs, wins and losses, highs and lows, successes and failures, and triumphs and tragedies. Life has a way of throwing unplanned events our way, disrupting our carefully laid plans and steering us toward unexpected outcomes. It's not always the result we desire; in fact, it can lead to havoc, unhappiness, or misery. It's easy to find ourselves stuck in a loop of replaying the situation over and over in our minds, hoping for a different outcome. You might spend days, months, or even years dwelling on what could have been. Reflection becomes a crucial tool in such moments. It's essential to learn our own lessons and discover how to move forward. Recognize that you've faced similar situations before. Your true power lies in accepting what came your way as a lesson, a guide meant to teach you things you may not know yet. Embrace the newfound knowledge. Taking responsibility for your life demands a choice: accept it or change it, for indecision can be emotionally draining. Learning your lessons is key. Repeating the same cycle of events, avoiding the lessons, only prolongs your journey. Once you learn & become aware, you gain the ability to recognize patterns. This awareness empowers you to take a step back, foresee the consequences, and navigate with wisdom to avoid similar hardships. Recognize the power of choice in shaping your life. Focus on doing the right things every day, understanding that unforeseen events outside your control will occur. QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER:
    • How do you typically cope with disappointment and unexpected events?
    • Reflect on a lesson you've learned from a past misfortune. How did it shape your perspective?
    • How can you integrate the concept of wisdom into your decision-making process?
    NOTABLE QUOTES:
    • "If you want to take responsibility for your life, of where it goes and where you'll ultimately end up, you must choose: accept it or change it, otherwise it's going to tear you apart."
    • "You must learn your lessons right one time, not continuing to learn the same lessons over and over and over again."
    • "Focus on doing the right things every single day, but be aware that there are things outside of your control that are going to happen."

  • Get FAT | Mindset Mastery with A.Z. Araujo
Get FAT | Mindset Mastery with Host AZ Araujo Today's topic is "Get FAT": It's staying Focused, putting the necessary Attention to the task at hand, and allowing Time to take its course. We are fast approaching the end of 2023. In this unassuming yet difficult market, I'm seeing a lot of agents at ease, thinking they've already hit a peak of what is possible for them this year. However, in this same market, I'm also seeing many agents that are focused and stepping up their game in order to end the year on a high note. In our industry, we will see a 10-15% reduction in production through the end of the year. This period presents opportunities for those who recalibrate and recommit to their objectives. Recognize the potential around you and evaluate your actions. Ask yourself where you need to be more focused and where your attention should be directed. Understand that, over time, this focused effort will manifest in the realization of your aspirations. As you visualize the conclusion of 2023 and prepare for 2024, conduct an audit of your attention and focus. Reflect on whether you are truly concentrating on the tasks at hand and if you are present in the moment. Align your desires with a genuine commitment to focus and intention and you will begin to see many opportunities around you. QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER:
    • Are you consistently maintaining momentum in your daily activities?
    • What are some ways you can audit your attention and focus to align them with your goals?
    • Where do you need to enhance your focus and attention for long-term growth?
    NOTABLE QUOTES:
    • "Create and maintain momentum, regardless of market conditions."
    • "Recalibrate and recommit to your goals to emerge as a great player in challenging times."
    • "In a challenging market, opportunities abound for those with the right focus and intention."

  • Think And Grow Rich | Mindset Mastery with A.Z. Araujo
THINK AND GROW RIGHT | Mindset Mastery with AZ Araujo Achieving greater success in your business or personal life begins with a powerful visualization of your goals. Start by creating a clear statement of your desires, outlining what you want and what you're willing to contribute in return. Establish a timeline and deadline to achieve your objectives. Understand that your journey may take longer than expected, but it's crucial to stay committed. Every step you take brings you closer to your vision. To succeed, you must take daily actions that align with your goals, and this involves personal development. Challenge the limiting beliefs and stories you tell yourself about your capabilities. With each step forward, you break down the barriers of what you thought was impossible, creating a new narrative of what is possible. Success comes with added responsibilities and hard work. It's not effortless, but if you support and live your vision with dedication, it becomes a promise. Are you ready for the additional responsibilities and the commitment needed to reach the next level? Do you have the energy and vitality to sustain your efforts in your personal life? Your journey to success requires a well-rounded plan and self-development. Remember that you need to evolve in all aspects of yourself to achieve something greater. QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER:
    • Have you crafted a clear statement of your desires with a timeline for achieving them?
    • Are you taking the necessary actions in your personal life to support your journey?
    • Are you willing to commit to the discipline and effort required for your vision?
    NOTABLE QUOTES:
    • "It's crafting a statement of desire, including what you want and what you're willing to give in return, and the timeline by which you will achieve it."
    • "A new level of success requires a new level of responsibility, which means more work, more effort. It doesn't come effortless."
    • "Every time you take a step forward, you start eroding that story of what is impossible and creating a new one of what is possible."

  • The Big Shift | Mindset Mastery with A.Z. Araujo
THE BIG SHIFT | Mindset Mastery with Host AZ Araujo You're probably like many agents, eagerly waiting for interest rates to drop, hoping the economy will pick up, and longing for the return of high demand in the real estate industry. You want property values to dip a bit, making it easier for your clients to afford homes and get excited about buying. But you're stuck in this waiting game, anticipating a significant shift. Here's the reality: that shift has already started. You can't wait for the old economy or interest rates to return. You need to adapt to inspire your clients to buy or sell in the current market. You can't simply wait for external changes or depend on others to drive the shift. The shift also involves changing your own thinking and approach. Your mindset and the way you communicate with clients matter. Waiting erodes your confidence and certainty about your business. If you wait, you attract more clients with that same mindset of waiting; meanwhile proactive agents are out there helping their clients make decisions now. It's all about how you perceive the market and the actions you take. Hesitation won't work, as each month becomes more challenging. You must engage in more conversations with potential buyers and sellers. Making daily deposits of effort into your self-development and business is crucial. The responsibility lies with you, not external factors like interest rates or market conditions. You need to find opportunities and present solutions to your clients. If you're not proactive in seeking solutions, your clients won't be either. There's already a shift towards prosperity on the horizon, and you must take steps toward it. You must market, reach out, and build relationships. Remember, the shift is within you. QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER:
    • What shifts in your mindset and approach can help you adapt to the current market conditions?
    • How can you engage in more conversations with potential buyers and sellers?
    • Are you making daily deposits of effort into your self-development and business growth?
    • What opportunities can you identify and present to your clients in the current real estate landscape?
    NOTABLE QUOTES:
    • "The shift is within."
    • "The reality is this all has to do with the way you think about the market and the actions you take."
    • "If you believe that the shift is outside of you, you're also going to believe that the shift will occur from somebody else, that they will help you down that direction. And that's just not the case."
