Episode #104
Have you ever felt like you were just a paycheck?
Like you're just living to go to work, earn money, come home to do things around the house, fix things, lift heavy stuff and then go back to work and repeat the process?
As men, we have historically held the identity of being the provider.
Typically, we are the ones who go to work to earn money and provide for our families in the aspect of finance. Because of this, we end up having to skip some of the special events with our families.
We miss out on the memories of our child's music recital or graduation, a field trip, or maybe our child got into trouble and we're not there to hear their side of the story and provide them with guidance.
And because we missed all of these events, we end up feeling like a stranger in our own homes. We end up feeling that our wives have a deeper connection with our child because we are missing out on the experiences.
Is this something you can relate to?
If you found yourself in this situation, what would you do?
Would you naturally resort to feeling like a victim? Or will you step up, take ownership and be the powerful man that you are?
Remember this, you will always have a choice.
