WTMJ host Steve Scaffidi was joined in studio by CJ Szafir, president of the Institute for Reforming Government, and they focused on education with the race for Wisconsin State Superintendent of Public Instruction and why the race mattered.

-IRG did a poll on parents’ opinions on the State DPI race, K-12 schools in Wisconsin and Milwaukee Public Schools; Steve and CJ discussed.

-They briefly made predictions for the DPI race.

Steve Scaffidi was next joined on the phone by candidate for Wisconsin State Superintendent Brittany Kinser. Steve began by asking her for her background, why she was running for the position, what she wanted to do in the position and what she would say to incumbent Jill Underly if they had a debate.

Steve gave his own take on the DPI race and the state of education in Wisconsin.
