From Buckley's remarkable story of survival in colonial Australia we move on to the British Royal family and Prince Andrew's appalling interview and his attempt to distance himself from the Jeffery Epstein scandal. Plus season three of The Crown has just hit Netflix, we get Caro and Corrie's early reviews.
Garry's 'Crush of the Week' is Nigella Lawson for being an ever present foodie inspiration - just don't call it 'food porn' or you'll make Caro even grumpier. Food porn, travel porn, garden porn - it's just not right says Caro.
It's a bumper edition of 'BSF' - Garry's recommending Lonsome Dove by Larry McMurtry and A Little Hatred by Joe Abercrombie. Caro's been to see Ford v Ferrari and Corrie serves up a chocolate torte with blood plum compote (see recipe on the Facebook page soon HERE. ).

Annabel Crabb’s Sticky Gingerbread Cake
300g (2 cups) plain flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon baking powder
125g unsalted butter
110g (1/2 cup) dark brown sugar
175g (1/2 cup) golden syrup
175g (1/2 cup) treacle
3 cm ginger, finely grated
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
2 eggs lightly beaten
125ml (1/2 cup) milk
250 g (1 cup) pumpkin puree
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C (180 fan forced). Grease and line a 30cm x 20cm slice (tray bake) tin.
Sift the flour into a mixing bowl with the cinnamon, allspice and baking powder.
In a large heavy-based saucepan over low heat, melt the butter, sugar, treacle and golden syrup with the grated and ground ginger. When everything is incorporated, remove from the heat and whisk in the bicarb soda – it will fizz up, which will be fun for moment. Whisk in the eggs, milk and pumpkin puree until smooth.
Now add the contents of the pan to the bowl and mix well. It will be a very liquid batter, but don’t despair: all will be well. Pour into the tin and place into the oven. After about 25 minutes it will be done. Keep an eye on it – the gingerbread should be sticky, so don’t wait until it’s co

COUNTRY TERRINE
1 kg of pork and veal mince
2 large onions finely chopped
2 cloves of crushed garlic
2 slices of white bread, crusts removed, bread 'crumbed'
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
2 teaspoons of salt
ground black pepper
3 tablespoons chopped parsley
2 eggs
1 tablespoon Grand Marnier
2 tablespoons white wine
4 bacon rashers to line the terrine
125g pistachio nuts (optional).
Fry onion and garlic slowly in butter until soft. Mix all ingredients and pour into greased terrine lined with bacon. Put bay leaves on to. Cover and cook in a bain marie (inch of water in a baking dish) about one to one and a half hours. To test insert a skewer. When cooked, juices will run clear. Leave to cool and serve with crusty bread. This makes enough for 8-10 people. (NB - You can use 1 dessertspoon of mixed fresh herbs in place of the dried thyme and marjoram).
