Chris Melink is an accomplished sales professional with over a decade of experience in the security and solar industries. He began his career at APX/Vivint from 2010 to 2013 and then moved to DishOne/Caliber, where he worked until 2022. Currently, he serves as a partner and founder at Solar Pros. Throughout his career, Chris has held various roles, including Sales Rep, Sales Manager, Director of Training, and VP of Products for major companies like Dish, ADT, and T-Mobile.
Chris has received numerous accolades for his sales performance, including being the #1 Sales Rep at DishOne in 2014 and 2015, and ranking #2 at Caliber in 2022. He has also been a speaker at D2DCON in 2016 and 2019. His impressive sales track record includes thousands of installations across multiple years, with ambitious goals for future performance.
Outside of work, Chris is married and a father of two daughters. He resides in Boise, Idaho, and enjoys hunting, golfing, and aspiring to become a pilot. Additionally, he is active in real estate investment, managing 14 properties.
Ashton Buswell is an experienced public speaker and a highly accomplished leader in the Door 2 Door industry training. With over 15 years of experience in door-to-door sales, Ashton has sold a wide range of products including satellite systems, alarm systems, and solar systems. His expertise lies specifically in the solar industry, where he has dedicated 10.5 years of his career.
What sets Ashton apart are his impressive sales records, which showcase his exceptional skills and dedication. He holds the record for the most sales in a day with setters, achieving a remarkable 22 sales. Additionally, he has achieved 16 self-generated sales in a single day, demonstrating his ability to excel without external support. Ashton's sales achievements extend beyond individual days, as he has also achieved the most sales in a week, month, and quarter, with impressive numbers of 46, 64, and 149 sales respectively.

Pete Gutierrez has been in the sales industry for over 20 years. In 2009, he ventured into door-to-door sales with Alarms with Pinnacle. In 2013, he expanded his expertise to the solar industry, working with Vivint Solar in South Bay, CA. Pete is currently with Legacy power in Accelerated Growth where is is systemizing recruiting process at scale. Pete is a proud father of three daughters and enjoys staying active by running, surfing, and snowboarding. He has a passion for continuous learning and reads over 30 books a year. Additionally, Pete engages in day trading as a side hustle.
Jon "The General" Soriano has many years of experience in a vast numbers of different industries. At the age of 20, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served his country as a Aviation Logistic Specialist from 2011-2014.
Once out, Jon started his journey into Entrepreneurship. Jon had success as a Network Marketer for a few years and then in the fitness apparel business for another few years. This taught him the art of public speaking, selling, recruiting and more.
Jon got into the solar industry with LGCY Power in 2016 and since then has achieved the title of Senior Director. He runs the Valor Division which is a top performing sales organization.
LGCY Power has quickly become one of the largest privately held residential solar companies in the country and is the exclusive solar provider of the Utah Jazz. LGCY Power has utilized proprietary technology that has been a key contributor to LGCY's success.

John Taylor is a Las Vegas native with a solid foundation in academia, holding a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from BYU and a PLD from Harvard Business School. With a distinguished career spanning 16 years at Vivint Inc, John has honed his expertise in leading teams for the company's diverse product lines, including alarms, smart home technology, internet services, and solar solutions. His journey from the vibrant streets of Las Vegas to the prestigious halls of Ivy League education showcases his unwavering commitment to excellence and continuous growth in the ever-evolving landscape of business and innovation.
Sam Gilpin embarked on his journey in the door-to-door industry in 2020, following his completion of a PhD in English Literature. Transitioning from academia to the world of door-to-door sales, he discovered a new path after experiencing disillusionment with his academic pursuits. Hailing from Oregon, Sam initially began his door-to-door career in Las Vegas. Today, he holds the position of manager at the PNW office in Portland, Oregon. This is the inspiring story of Sam Gilpin.
Misty Barber started her career in the Door 2 Door industry with Vivint + in 2018. She quickly proved herself as a top performer, selling 20 deals and successfully installing 19 in her first quarter. Misty's exceptional skills earned her the MVP title and the culture award in the second quarter. After six months with Vivint +, Misty installed an impressive 50 accounts.
In 2019, Misty took the leap into entrepreneurship by establishing her own dealer with Arcadia solar. She excelled in sales and mastered the art of scaling the business in her first year. From 2020 to 2022, Misty continued to oversee operations, doubling both team members and sales volume year after year. After three years of dedication, Misty achieved a seven-figure income.
In 2023, Misty joined LGCY Power, ready for the next phase of her career. Alongside her success in the Door 2 Door industry, Misty also ventured into the roofing industry, establishing Fortitude Roofing in 2019. With her determination and strategic approach, Misty scaled the company, surpassing 1.5 million in sales by 2023. Looking ahead, Misty projects sales volume to reach 2.5 million in 2024.
As a realist investor, Misty owns 2.4 million in real estate properties. She continues to invest in real estate each year, growing her portfolio and securing her financial future.
