Doug works at the University of Rhode Island as a high energy extragalactic astrophysicist with a primary focus on supermassive black holes. He also works on radar tracking of migratory birds in wind farms. Doug also owns a hobby farm where they raise many fruits and vegetables as well as numerous small animals. He has also studied martial arts for over 25 years and holds a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Tang So Do.
