Down from His Glory,
ever living story,
my God and Saviour came,
and Jesus was His name.
Born in a manger,
to His own a stranger,
a man of sorrows,
tears and agony.
Chorus:
O how I love him!
How I adore Him!
My breath, my sunshine,
my all in all!
The great Creator
became my Saviour,
and all God's fullness
dwelleth in Him.
What condescention,
bringing us redemption;
that in the dead of night,
not one faint hope in sight,
God, gracious, tender,
laid aside His splendor,
stooping to woo, to win,
to save my soul. (Chorus)
Without reluctance,
flesh and blood His substance;
He took the form of man,
revealed the hidden plan.
O glorious myst'ry,
sacrifice of Calvary,
and now I know Thou wert
the great "I Am". (Chorus)
從榮耀降臨，永遠奇妙福音，我神我主降臨，耶穌是祂聖名。
生在馬槽裡，世人看為客旅，在世受盡悲傷，流淚，飄零。
主卑微順服，使我們得救贖，雖在黑夜茫茫，毫無半點指望，
但慈悲上主，甘願離榮光處，降世救贖我靈魂免滅亡。
主甘心樂意，道成血肉身體，取了世人樣式，顯明隱藏美旨。
榮耀的奧祕，加略山的燔祭，自有永有的神偉大無比。
副歌：我何等愛主！何等崇拜主！我生命亮光，我的一切！
宇宙大主宰，成為我救主，神一切豐盛，全在主裡。
