"Dr. Phil Saved My Life!" - A Powerful Story Of Sobriety, Hope & Redemption | Amanda Crossley

Listen Later

Today's guest is Amanda Crossley. In 2010, Amanda’s life was a complete mess. She and her sisters were heavily addicted to heroin and found themselves stealing from family and doing whatever was needed to maintain their addiction. Eventually, Amanda hit rock bottom and out of desperation wrote a letter to Dr. Phil asking for help. A few years later, she got her chance and told her story in front of millions on the show that thankfully got her sober and saved her life. Today, Amanda is a recovery advocate and uses her platform and story to help give others hope for their transformation.

Today on the show we discuss: how Dr. Phil saved her life from the depths of addiction, the moment Amanda realized she was the problem, how public accountability can be a powerful catalyst for change, the critical role family plays in addiction and recovery, why self-doubt lingers long after sobriety, how Amanda uses her experience to guide others toward healing and hope.
