Today's episode is all about embracing being a beginner. The fact is, if you started, you’re a badass. Most people don’t even start. Starting is the first hurdle, enduring being a beginner is the next. Today's tips for being a beginner include:

Stop comparing your beginning to someone else’s middle. We often compare ourselves to people who have been doing this for years or even a lifetime. 

Give yourself permission to go slow. The day you plant the seed is not the day you get to eat the fruit. Until you have a handful of listeners, customers, or clients you will never get to a hundred.

The dream we seek is often the result of years of work, so know that being a beginner is the first step. It’s important to connect back to our heart and inspiration for starting when our head wants to tell us we’re going too slow, or tired of being a beginner 

It’s often our ego that gets in the way of embracing being a beginner because our ego wants us to be an expert, and the best in the business or industry so we feed it. But the heart connects to something deeper and that’s our desire or passion for the project and often the reason we started, so connecting back to the heart is a good practice to have when you’re first starting out.
