Emotional intelligence for daily life episodes

  • Manage moments of uncertainty
We often act in moments of uncertainty with stress and recurring reactions that might not help to find assertive responses. Try this practice to widen your view on the situation 😉

  • Overcoming too much thinking
Are you stuck in a thinking loop? Is it difficult to get rid of a repetitive worry? When we are overwhelmed by thoughts, it tires our mind and body and we often can not concentrate on what we really want to do. This practise helps you to switch from hearing outside and listening to your thoughts. It makes you be more present and less overwhelmed. Enjoy!

  • Relaxation breath 4 - 7 - 8
In this conscious breathing we want to relax our nervous system, release emotional triggers and come back to sleeping if we wake up in the night. It paces down our daily acceleration and helps us to seeing a difficult situation differently. We breath in on the count of 4, we hold the breath on the count of 7 and exhale on the count of 8. Please do not force and if you need to warm up your breath before, that is fine. Holding the breath is not recommended if you are having breathing or heart conditions or if you are pregnant.

  • BEE Sound Humming
This conscious breathing helps to regulate our nervous system calming us and create silence in our mind. It also increases our senses, listening and seeing and with it our creativity. I suggest 2 variations, humming with a "M" sound pressing both lips together or with a "V" sound pressing the lower lips against the upper front teeth. Your pitch can vary from day to day or you might like intentionally change it during the practise!

  • Conscious breathing 4 in - 4 out
This exercise is for regulating your nervous system while breathing on the count of 4 in and 4 out. It will help you to recover from stressful moments, focus your attention and increase your concentration. A perfect pause during your working day or after an overload of mental work. It is a very simple exercise, but find also some creative variation in the audio!

  • 3 part breath
With the 3-part-breath we want to consciously fill our lungs from the bottom to the upper part, so that it rises our energy level in a positive way. The attention is to inhale first towards the belly, then expand the ripcage, then breathe to the chest and exhale at once releasing all effort. You can increase the energetic charge inhaling and exhaling through the nose.
