Hey Pickles!
We dedicate this episode to Lolita, the Orca that was held captive for over 53 years at Miami Seaquarium. Lolita's suffering was ended when she perished in captivity this past weekend. We mourn her, and all animals that are exploited, and who suffer at the hands of humans.
On a happier note, this week, we made our way north to Ontario Canada to seek out vegan food from Hamilton to Toronto, with a stop in Burlington for the 2nd annual Burlington Vegfest!
We'll tell you all about the food, the advocacy, and the wonderful people that we met along the way.
In our Noteworthy segment, we celebrate the great work that Lviv's Vegan Kitchen is doing for war refugees in the Ukraine.
