You go to school, get the job, and life starts lining up the way it "should".
But what happens when you think about that life for the next 40+ years and it isn't what you want?
You take a leap of faith and go after what you do.
Kylie Antolini, proprietor and founder of Wildwood Candle Co., is an avid trail runner and candle-obsessed connoisseur. Wildwood Candle Co. is the manifestation of her love affair with candle fragrance, trail running, and Forest Park. Inspired to share her love, gratitude, and enthusiasm for the park in a scent-delivered form is how it all came about. The Wildwood trail is her favorite to run on, as it is relatively mild in elevation change, well-maintained, and accessible from many areas of the park. The branded blue diamonds inspire her to keep making progress in running and candle making.
Kylie tells us all about her journey of working full time as a dental hygienist and pouring candles out of a tiny space in her home to eventually quitting her job and going full time into Wildwood Candle Co. Kylie now has her product in many local Portland shops as well as Whole Foods and REI. Kylie tells us all about how her business came to life and all the ups and downs along the way.
Be sure you check out Kylie's candles. They smell SO GOOD!!!
The names of the candles and scents are inspired by her runs in Forest Park.
With scents of "Leif Erikson", "Wild Wood", "Dog Wood" and more you are going to be transported to the best place in Portland, from your own home!
You definitely want one of these burning in your house at all times.
