This week we start our 2022 Cookbook Challenge. We're making a recipe a week from one of the many vegan cookbooks that we own.

This week's recipe is a lentil sloppy Joe recipe from the Veganomicon by Isa Chandra Moskowitz & Terry Hope Romero.

If you don't have this cookbook, we highly recommend it!

We picked a simpler recipe that didn't require us to purchase a ton of ingredients that we didn't already have on hand.

We also discuss some vegan news, the recent vegan episode of Beat Bobby Flay & Sam reveals some big news!
