Often we’re told that self-love means spa days and botox. But true self-love is much deeper than that. It’s honoring your actual needs. YOUR actual needs. Not your kids, not your friends not your partners. Yours.
Self-love is saying no without guilt. It's setting boundaries that can make some people uncomfortable. It’s nourishing your body, resting without proving you deserve it. It’s a daily practice. And most days, it’s quiet. Not glamorous. Not Instagrammable.
But sometimes? You meet someone whose Instagram does emote self-love—not in a curated, picture-perfect way, but in a way that feels embodied.
Breezy Sloth is a bit of a legend in upstate NY. Rochester listeners know her as Breezy from 98PXY. She's the voice on the radio that makes everyone’s morning commute way more fun. Breezy is fearlessly, hilariously, unapologetically herself. Her journey has been a total rollercoaster and in this episode we go deep: From eating disorders and religion to fearing death and mediums. Breezy has been able to grow and evolve and learn these life lessons by being HONEST with herself, showing up for herself, listening to herself. And ultimately loving herself. I love this woman, I love how she moves through the world and I know you will too.
