When we talk about adoption, cats and dogs often come to mind first, but there are other animals that deserve our attention, such as parrots and birds. Carmen, who recently became a volunteer at an animal shelter, will share with us the ins and outs of pet adoption, especially focusing on those often-forgotten birds. We encourage everyone to consider adoption over purchasing, and together provide a loving haven for these innocent lives.
