Today on the show we speak to former NZSAS operator, current Firefighter and the man behind the Instagram page, @hownottodieguy, Damien Porter. Damien spent 10 years in the New Zealand Defence Force, also including a number of those in the New Zealand Special Forces. After leaving the Defence Force, Damien then moved into a short career with the West Australian Police, before then moving into the West Australian Fire and Emergency Service. 

Damien now runs the Instagram Page, How Not to Die Guy, in which he teaches everyday people how to appropriately look after yourself and protect yourself from every day threats. We speak about Damien's Life, career as well as some short quick tips in how to protect yourself from everyday threats.
