Graduated from North Mesquite High School in 1991. She then went

to Baylor University and played basketball her freshman year. Jill graduated

from Baylor University in 1995.

Coach Jill McDill has been coaching Varsity basketball for 24 years. She has

been the Varsity basketball coach at Crawford High School, Rockwall High

School, and Sunnyvale High School. During her 24 years as a Varsity basketball

coach, Coach McDill’s teams have won 717 games with 149 losses. Coach

McDill has coached 11 teams to Regional Tournaments. She has coached 6

teams from 3 different schools to State Tournaments.

In 2007, the Rockwall Lady Jackets won the 5A State Championship with a

record of 40-0. The Lady Jackets were one of only 3 teams in Texas to ever go

40-0. They were ranked #3 in the nation by the USA Today poll.

In 2015, the Sunnyvale Lady Raiders won the 3A State Championship with a

37-2 record.

Jill has been married for 31 years to Paul McDill, a co-pastor at Community Life

Church. They have 4 children: Caleb (26), Noah (21), Joshua (18), and Julia

(12). Caleb is married to Kensley, and they have 2 boys: Malachi (1) and

Beckham (1 month).
