Katie starts off the podcast by explaining that her recent trip to Marrakesh was for business purposes, as she took a group of people to enjoy some time off, learn and network in a group setting. She also explains why this retreat took place specifically in Marrakesh and how her business retreat to New York last year inspired her to create something similar for her clients. She also walks us through the process and planning that went into the creation of this trip for her clients and how she made sure that the group would consist of like-minded people who would connect well because no one would really want to be stuck in a foreign country with people they don't vibe with or get along well with.

She also shares how it proved to be an incredible opportunity for her to talk about her business and entrepreneurship with a group of wonderful business owners without any fear of judgement as is usually expected when talking to people who aren't entrepreneurs themselves and don't properly understand the ins and outs of running a business.

She also explains how she made sure to find a good balance between working by learning and interactive discussions and enjoying by doing something fun, touring the area, and finding enjoyable activities for everyone.
