On today’s Episode of A Day In Her Life, I had the pleasure of chatting with Julia S Powell. Julia is a professional artist I have followed for a long time on Instagram and it was such treat to chat with her. Julia is a single mother of two daughters who lives in Cambridge, MA and in today’s episode we chat about her experience with au pairs, how a gift from her brother kickstarted her career as an artist, and how being an artist enables her to be a very present parent for her girls. We also discuss the power of novels and reading for mental health and self care, and the grounding effect and importance of the friendships in her life.
