What is the Vault?
What is in the vault?
Learned connects and frameworks for how the world works that create what we call our reality or "how the world works" from our vantage points.
Some common ones:
Having more money is better than not
Being skinny is better
We should always try to be happy
We need love to live
Concepts/beliefs that tend to be drivers of behavior and story. The key ring full of heavy skeleton keys we try to use to pry the vault open. What if it is already open and empty?
“… it can be seen that that jester hat is empty ...it was merely the shiny musical bells that were hypnotizing... it can happen that the stories are no longer believed ...and there is living in the space before the stories are written and embracing the stories at the same time." Nancy Neithercut
“When we believe in the world outside of ourselves, gain is often perceived as good and loss as bad. When we stop believing in a world external to self. that reverses: gain becomes bad and loss becomes good. Nothing we can lose was ever ours in the first place. All we can ever lose is illusion.”
