Understanding ourselves is the first step to true awakening, and brothers, that is why I spend so much time on it. Today, I will be expanding on the “Who Am I?” episode to bring you another analogy that hopefully explains this rollercoaster of life: the television.
You see, TVs, much like radios, connect to different frequencies to tune you into your channel of choice. Obviously, this is before the internet and Netflix and streaming and content on-demand, but rather a time when you had to pick up the remote and change the channel to something you’d enjoy more than what you were watching.
So in life, we tune into different channels, different energies, and different frequencies, and those become life’s focus in that moment. There are seven channels to life and the first is that of form which is closely followed by the second channel – the perception of our awareness related to that form. And our individual channels are all different. In channel two, I may be focused on my height and my crooked nose and how that may hinder me from finding a sexual partner. But my friend’s channel two is all about aging and how she can’t stand her wrinkles. Both are still about our perception of form but how we relate to and engage with it is completely different.
Channel three is ego and identity and how we’re attached to the identity that’s been explained to us from birth. But you see, brothers, these are all models of alignment, models that we do need to break free from in our quest for true awakening. And the same is true of channel four – our emotions – because we often believe that we are what we feel and what we think. And that, brothers, is how we get stuck. And when we get stuck, the real work begins.
Whatever channel we are stuck on is an opportunity to switch frequencies and that change can only come from within. No one else has the remote for your life, so it’s up to you to decide which frequencies you tap into. There’s so much more to share about this TV we call life so be sure to tune into part two. Until then, and with love, continue to elevate your alpha.
