A massive week in British distance running with the Olympic 10000m trials and we've got Tokyo-bound, Marc Scott, on to talk us through his race.

Matt has been gracing the trials with his presence in the B race.

Josh is hitting the miles, and worried about a hot air balloon ride.

Aaron is also racking up the miles, whilst moaning about pussies who use the treadmill when it's only 22 degrees outside.

The British Olympic 10,000m trials were exciting, with Eilish and Jess booking their tickets in the women's race, and Marc Scott securing his spot in the Men's.

 

Women’s A - 31:25 standard / Top 2 with standard

Eilish McColgan 31:19.35 OGQ  (30:58 in Feb already had time)

Mo Farah 27:50.64 (has until 27th June to run a time now)

Emile Cairess 27:53.19 Commies Q England (28:00)

Sam Atkin has run 27:26 earlier in the year, will he go?

 

Positives - stream good, live splits from open track, Tom Gayle back on stream

Negatives - confusion around how people auto qualified, Sky Sports News reporting of the result last night - so many mistakes!

 

Elsewhere, Josh Kerr ran the fastest ever 1500m on American soil and Sifan Hassan just running a world record of 29:06.82 a couple of hours ago.
