We are so excited to share this conversation with you. Kristi interviewed Melissa Oholendt of Oho Interiors, and this is just an amazing, authentic and vulnerable conversation. We dive deep into Melissa’s journey from a 9-5 into small business, her pivot from one small business to another small business, motherhood, her struggles with infertility, mental health and how in the world she stays sane with all this, while remodeling every corner of her house and sharing the whole process on social media. 

 

Melissa left a corporate job in her 20’s when she was feeling unfulfilled in her career, and was really seeking a creative outlet. She went on to start a photography business that was absolutely amazing, and wildly successful and was even voted one of the top photographers in the world by Bride’s Magazine. After Melissa and her husband adopted their daughter she decided it was time to pivot again when photography was no longer serving her and her family. In 2019 she started her interior design business called Oho Interiors in the Minneapolis area, which blew up almost immediately. 

 

Melissa’s eye for design, talent and humor are all things that will make you fall in love with her and her Instagram page is filled with all of that.
