Overcoming Imposter Syndrome Imposter is something we’ve talked about many times, and it keeps rearing its ugly head. It’s not just us that are feeling it, it’s been coming up in conversations, on podcasts, it feels like it’s following us everywhere no matter how many times we deal with it. What we’ve been realizing is that it’s something a lot of people deal with, even people that look like they’ve got everything figured out, and in some ways those are the people that seem to feel it the most. There can be many causes of imposter syndrome depending on who it’s affecting. You can feel imposter syndrome in your personal life, in the workplace and in motherhood. Overcoming feeling like a fraud can be a daily struggle sometimes, and it can prevent us from showing up as our best version of ourselves if we aren’t careful. It can cause anxiety and hold us back from pursuing our dreams, from doing the things we want. It can be a slippery slope into living our life in a different way than we want, simply because we feel like stepping out on that ledge and taking a chance will make us feel like a fake.
