Episode 56: Let’s Step Away from the Bad Vibes and the Bad People

Listen Later

Sonia C. is throwing around some yiddish words today! Have you ever heard of the word, ‘farbissina’? It represents a person who just gives you bad vibes and makes you doubt yourself. As empaths and sensitives, that kind of energy can really take you down. You have to, have to be super protective of your energy and recognize these people early on!

This week’s theme is about: Protect Yourself Against Bad Farbissinas

Highlights:

  • What is a farbissina? [1:20]
  • A farbissina is like the Eeyore of the Winnie-the-Pooh. [4:50]
  • The farbissina energy is incapable of celebrating with you. [8:25]
  • There’s a lot of power in being open and talking to a farbissina about their bad vibes. Sonia T. shares what happened when she tried. [16:00]
  • The farbissina is always in her own triggered world of fears and overthinking…and it rubs off! [25:20]
  • It’s important to know who you are. How does someone get to that point? [27:00]
  • What makes a farbissina a farbissina? Sonia T. believes it’s jealousy. [33:00]
  • What are some of the famous traits of a farbissina? [41:45]
  • Tool of the Week [44:35]
  • Question of the week. [47:40]

Farbissinas can also just be people who are perpetually negative. Not only do they make you doubt yourself, but everytime they walk into a room, that room’s light goes out! Their icky presence might not necessarily be directed at you all the time, but their energy can drain an empathy’s mood and happiness right away.

Sabrina recently encountered an unintentional farbissina and it left her in a state of grossness. Their bad vibes really rained on her day. It took her some time to shake herself out of it. A farbissina is a person who just leaves a negative snail trail all around them and no matter what you do, you can’t help them out of the rain cloud they keep dragging around.

Question of the Week: Do angels and guides support you even when I’m having an angry outburst?

Tool of the Week: Don’t take the farbissina bait. Go for a walk. Take a breather.
