What has been learned and not questioned about what they are?

Why does it feel like they are MY beliefs?

  • Beliefs are thought-concepts/words/ideas that seem to have more substance, more solidity. And the impression of substance and solidity seem to be the ingredients the mind uses to determine “Real” or “True”.
  • There is a sneaking suspicion, an intuited feeling that what is going on is permanently fleeting and has no edges to hold.
  • Beliefs are like an imaginary line drawn in mid-air.
  • Beliefs as crystallized knowledge units 
  • Beliefs seem to be necessary to navigate conceptual overlays
