We don’t know who needs to hear this, but there is not one set path, specialty, or skillset that guarantees success in our industry.  While there are a lot of dermatologist and plastic surgeons who expand their practices to include medical aesthetics treatments, they are not the only ones who can do it!  Some backgrounds can make it easier to assess conditions and learn treatment technologies, and some specialties can have a built-in base of potential customers, but there are opportunities out there for everyone.
