As a teen I had big dreams to become a professional athlete.
I loved basketball.
And for those who’ve met me, you know I’m tall enough!
But I got sick…
And made the mistake of thinking I had a common cold or flu…
When really it was glandular fever.
It led to extreme exhaustion and eventually I collapsed.
I was frustrated that I misdiagnosed my symptoms.
I was frustrated by the lack of understanding in the medical system.
I was frustrated I couldn’t play basketball anymore.
And I bet you had goals and dreams much like I did.
And that you’ve felt more than just frustrated on many occasions too.
The good news is recovery is absolutely possible.
That’s the reason I sat down with Cindy O’meara and Kim to share my story here.
And to share my approach to recovery. (which is different than you think)
I hope this conversation serves you.
