For her official podcast debut, I had the honor of sitting down with Donni Davy AKA the makeup mastermind behind HBO’s Euphoria. If you’ve been watching this unforgettable show for the past year, or if your social media feed has continuously been flooded with looks that can only be described as “glamorous, adolescent doom”, then you know this is a big deal. HUGE. Donni has helped to set a beauty standard that not only accepts neon, rhinestones, and glitter, but demands it. Whether it be a show like Euphoria or an Oscar-winning film like Moonlight, her unique approach to makeup as self-expression is a true gift. After growing up in Venice, California as the child of two artists, and then moving to Brooklyn for art school, this level of genius comes as no surprise. But of course, the journey wasn’t always easy. Tune in for a raw conversation on growing into one’s confidence, being an art school kid, and hustling no matter what. Enjoy!
