In celebration of the Barbie movie coming out we are wearing pink while recording this episode! We are super excited to share that we were the first to stay at the Barbie Malibu Dreamhouse and in this episode we share what it was really like staying there. We then dive into our experiences over the weekend that led us to the discussion of clinginess and neediness. Are you clingy when dating? It's easy to get attached quick when you are excited about someone new. We discuss how clinginess and neediness got in the way of enjoying our own relationships and try to come up with a solution to the neediness. We are a mess, and not experts, but we are sharing from our own experiences and showing that you are not alone if you have these feelings. We hope you enjoy this episode!

Let's talk about red flags. We are always so quick to point out red flags in others, but today we talk about the red flags we ourselves have that probably turn people off. It's ok to look at our flaws and see what we can do to improve, because we're all just out here trying to figure it out. Of course, we had to throw in some personal red flags in others and some of them are a little weird, to be honest. So get comfy and enjoy this red flag filled episode!

This week we talk about something we have all experienced, which is ghosting. Whether you have been ghosted, or you're the person doing the ghosting. Why do we do it? Should I keep reaching out if I'm being ghosted and try to get closure? We try to unpack all of this as I share a recent ghosting story myself. I had a one night stand and got ghosted, and did something that I regret doing. So we also explain what not to do when you are being ghosted. Also, if you are wanting to ghost someone we share a few helpful ways to let someone down easy, without going silent. We hope you enjoy this episode! Remember to subscribe, leave a review, and share!

Welcome back to another week of Excuse My Friend with Heartlyn Rae! This week we get real, and we get vulnerable. But of course we had to start off with a prank call. Julia submitted her ex boyfriend's (who she broke up with years ago due to his toxicity and abuse) information on the Church of Scientology website to make sure they give him a few calls and emails. Was it immature? Yes, and we don't recommend it, but the call was too funny not to share. Beyond the call, this episode isn't about crazy hookups, (shocking, we know) but we decided to lift the curtain and let you in on what's really going on. We struggle with anxiety and overthinking, the kind that creeps up at night. Losing sleep, overthinking about situations, making up scenarios, and overall anxiety is something we all deal with whether we want to admit it or not. Today we share tips on dealing with these thoughts, and wellness practices to put into your nightly routine to have a better night's sleep. We hope you enjoy, and that you laugh a little, and maybe sleep better after listening to this episode!
