Dr. Matthew L. Harris,is a professor of History and Director of Legal Studies at Colorado State University-Pueblo.He has written extensively on Ezra Taft Benson, former Secretary of Agriculture under President Dwight Eisenhower and Apostle and Prophet for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. E. T. Benson, a conservative in politics, crossed over to a more radical opinion in government issues. He became convinced that many in government, Hollywood, Religion, and the Education were communists. He became obsessed and mixed his political views with theology.
