This weeks been a Biggin. I flew to Sydney to shoot the cover for the next book! It was so exciting to start seeing this little dream come to life. In this episode I share a bit of the prep that went into the shoot, what I changed about my diet and exercise in the lead up to feel the most confident I could. I tried a few new spots in Byron too! I hit up a new yoges space, and tried an infrared sauna.

Meet my voice coach, Matt Furlani. He’s unreal and been my dialect coach for coming up to 3 years now. Meet Annie O'Reilly, we actually met at the Australian launch of LEGO #LEGObotanicalcollection which is all about creating more mindfulness and creativity amongst us big kids. Annie was teaching us all about the meaning behind the flowers in this LEGO range and character traits based on the flowers we intuitively picked.

Then after the event Annie did a tea leave reading which blew my mind. In fact we do a live tea leaf reading in this podcast, hope you like.

I learnt so much in todays episode: Kate Nelson AKA the Plastic Free Mermaid talked all things plastic pollution, DIY ideas and simple ways we can all make a difference. Kate has been free of using single use plastics for almost 11 years now! We talked about micro-plastics, micro-fibres and even the oestrogens in plastics that our bodies absorb. To be completely honest with you, a lot of this was new to me so I cant thank Kate enough for taking the time to break down and explain what’s really going on. We talked about feeling overwhelmed with failing to be environmentally conscious too, and she said that failure is part of change so it can be a good thing. You’ll also herd us nerd out about Orca whales! Righto, let me be frank here, I was nervous to interview Renée because she's the same age as me but far out, she’s accomplished so much and she’s absolutely chased her dreams. Aussies will know her as a host on The Voice but prior to that she’s been living in USA for the past 10 years and a host on Extra, she’s won 2 Emmy awards, been linked to dating Brad Pitt (which we talk about) and interviewed the greats from Oprah to George Clooney! And after all that she’s so grounded and genuine. Soon as the podcast ended I was like “can we be friends?” Very cool human. Reneé has recently relocated to Byron Bay due to Covid and she couldn’t be more at home, this is where she was raised.
