CC’s Polymarket markets of the week

The Fed cut rates by 25bps on Wednesday 17th September 2025. There is currently n 82% chance of a 25bps cut in October. This sounds fair to me. Rates should actually be going up, but that is truly a Contrarian play and unlikely to happen.

If I was putting my cash where my mouth is then this market seems fair and I’d be going for a 25bps in October. It’s not what should happen but is what I think will happen.

The second market of note is whether Jerome Powell will be out as Fed Chair in 2025. 6% seems way too high in my opinion. I put his chances at between 0% - 1%. He has delivered what Trump wanted (and will likely deliver again in October) and therefore Trump would have no need to remove him in 2025.

This market is grossly mispriced in my opinion. There could be a few $$’s to be made here.
