HELPING UKRAINIAN NEWCOMERS TO CANADA
Jane Brown is now joined by Peter Schturyn, President of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress Toronto Branch.
Peter talks about the launch of an online portal by the Ukrainian Canadian Congress Toronto Branch to help provide Ukrainian newcomers to Canada with key information. A second Canadian chartered plane brought over approximately 306 Ukrainians to Montreal this past Sunday from Poland. And, Manitoba has been covering the medical cost of Ukrainian newcomers which they need to update their work permits and get jobs.
