FEKKAI originated at the salon in 1989, when there was the lack of high-quality hair care products at the time - in particular, color care. Women were leaving the salon with beautiful hair color and returning with faded, oxidized colored hair in a matter of weeks. That inspired him to create Technician Color, which has always remained a favorite. Professional luxury hair hair care didn’t exist - there was a gap in the prestige market, particularly in areas like color care, and saw an opportunity to offer solutions that were missing at the time. From the start it has always been about the skinification of hair care, the sensorality of the formulations and the experience using the product matched with unprecedented professional results. Frédéric embarked on a journey that fused innovation with expertise. 

Frédéric’s style is inspired by the French way of life - it is about capturing the beauty of each individual person, however effortlessly chic, working with the natural hair they have. He dared to transcend boundaries and carve out his own niche.

The French influence does not end with just the Parisian style - Being from Aix-en-Provence, he was inspired to create a brand that uses simple natural ingredients we find in French heritage, like Olive Oil, Apple Cider Vinegar, and Shea Butter.

At the heart of the produt line lies a synergy between the most high-quality natural ingredients and groundbreaking formula innovation in clean science. Frédéric and the FEKKAI stylists test each formula on actual clients in the salons. The products extend beyond functionality; they encompass an entire sensory experience. From the delightful aroma to the luxurious textures and the captivating sensation during application, every aspect is meticulously designed to create a holistic experience that embodies our luxurious salon experience in every use.

As a brand deeply rooted in luxury and heritage, next year will be FEKKAI’s 35th anniversary.
