Whether your favorite place is right where you are or a sentimental destination or a place inside your imagination, being in what I call your "happy place" isn't just a shallow notion. It can actually be a way to train your mind to take in the positive wherever you go.
I was inspired to do this episode because I'm actually in my Happy Place right now – Maui. And not only that, but the house that I'm staying in is filled with little signs that say "Find Your Happy Place." I even found out that the street I live on, which is Luana Place, is Hawaiian for "Happy."
In today's episode, I share more about why it's deeply life-giving and nourishing to spend time in places that bring you joy and how you can train your brain to take in the good around you no matter where you are.
