Today's Coffee Talk Episode is inspired by conversations I've had on consults. It is very common to want to make change, have a logical path forward, but then shoot yourself in the foot and do nothing because you are worried you won't follow through.
What if I spend the money and then don't follow through?
This fear is WAY more common than you think, and I talk about how to deal with it.

On episode 570 of the Fitme Coffee Talk Podcast, I reflect on the steps it took to create consistency. Often times we WAIT...we want the perfect time or to be ready...but that is rarely the way to create consistency. It is typically far more gritty. Less pretty.

Sometimes the scale can become an obsession. And when we work to manipulate it, we are probably missing the important things to focus on.
I've been there. I did weight watchers multiple times and boy did I ever WATCH my weight.
Are you stuck in this obsessive cycle?

I don't know why they don't make Pinterest quotes about feeling like a akward baby giraffe. Because to me, that is what it is like to be "outside of your comfort zone."
It doesn't always feel good, doesn't feel like magic. And embrace the discomfort... just doesn't do it justice.
